Job description
DevOps Engineer job role - Permanent, full-time position. Hybrid working in place, 1 day a week from the office.
An excellent opportuntiy to join a well established and successful business based from offices in Southampton.
This role focuses on optimising application build, release, and deployment processes to deliver continuous, high-quality software efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD solutions (Jenkins & Azure DevOps) for build, test, release, deploy, and security needs.
- Oversee application build, packaging, and release management across all environments.
- Standardize and automate build and release processes to support agile methodologies.
- Manage code branching strategies and source code (Git) to ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors on DevOps and production deployments.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure, Kubernetes, App Services) and cloud-based infrastructure management.
