Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the financial sector, is currently seeking a Head of Credit Risk to join their team. This permanent role involves overseeing and managing credit risk strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, update, monitor and control risk management policies to ensure proper implementation.
- Develop and maintain acceptance strategies, adapting them to new products and partnerships.
- Manage personal loan and credit card portfolios, including segmentation, diversification, and concentration analysis.
- Produce and critically analyse monthly reports to facilitate risk management decisions.
- Monitor key risk performance indicators, identifying alert points and developing action plans to manage and control risk.
- Ensure the proper management of credit limits and risk strategies in commercial campaigns and exposure control.
- Develop, maintain, implement, and supervise internal rating tools, such as scoring models and risk segmentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, especially regarding internal governance and reporting.
- Support the construction of a new DataWarehouse in collaboration with related departments and the Group.
Job Requirements:
- Solid experience in risk analysis, risk management, and credit risks.
- Strong knowledge of risk models and tools, including SAS and Python.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in risk analysis, such as AI, machine learning, and big data would be nice to have.
- Proficient in data analysis and database management.
- Strategic vision and stress management skills.
- Experience in credit risk management, particularly with credit cards and personal loans.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
