Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the design, installation, and maintenance of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems
• Developing and implementing monitoring strategies to ensure project compliance
• Analysing geotechnical data and providing comprehensive reports and recommendations
• Collaborating with design teams to integrate monitoring requirements into project plans
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to present findings and address any concerns
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to during installation and monitoring activities
• Maintaining documentation and monitoring data for project records
• Leading a team of technicians and overseeing their work to ensure high standards are met

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in geotechnical engineering principles and instrumentation technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing monitoring strategies for various projects
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Understanding of health and safety regulations related to geotechnical instrumentation
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience with cross-sector projects and multi-disciplinary teams
