Our client, operating in the HTP sector, is seeking an experienced Site Agent/Project Manager to join their team near Suffolk. This is a permanent, site-based position that involves managing substantial civil engineering and major highway/infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day operational roles on-site
• Managing projects ranging from £10 million to £20 million+
• Leading and mentoring the site team to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with Highways England standards
• Collaborating with commercial teams to manage budgets and financial aspects
• Ensuring all work adheres to relevant health and safety regulations
• Handling earthworks, structures, viaducts, roads, and roundabouts
• Maintaining strong client relationships and excellent communication

Job Requirements:

• Experience in project management within civil engineering and major projects
• Proven history of managing successful road projects
• Understanding of Highways England regulations and standards
• Capability to manage and deliver large-scale schemes (£10-20 million+)
• Experience with earthworks and structures
• Railway experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
