Our client, a renowned consultancy operating within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Senior Highway Technician to join their team. This permanent role involves providing technical expertise and support in the planning and design of local highways schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing junior technicians and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Contributing to the successful delivery of highways projects
• Preparing detailed highway design drawings using CAD software
• Developing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Supporting the planning and design phases of local highway schemes
• Providing technical advice and solutions as part of a project team

Job Requirements:

• Minimum HNC qualification in civil engineering
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software with experience in highway or transportation design
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices related to highway design on the local road network
