The skills of tomorrow for Highways
The UK highways sector today is planning and delivering a number of high profile projects including improvements to the A14, M6, M11, Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) and M1 and there continues to be a demand for highway design engineers and construction/site engineers.
But as organisations in the highways sector look to adopt more technology to improve safety, increase efficiencies and reduce costs, the engineering skills employers are looking for are evolving.
