Job description
Our client, a prominent company in the technology sector, is currently seeking a PMO to join their team on a contract basis. The role focuses on managing project finance, risk, and resourcing, with additional responsibilities related to Project Status Reports. This is an initial six months contract, with two days required on site in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project finance to ensure budgets are adhered to and financial goals are met
- Monitoring and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth project execution
- Overseeing resource allocation and ensuring optimal use of team members and materials
- Preparing and delivering comprehensive Project Status Reports to stakeholders
- Collaborating closely with project teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Supporting project governance by ensuring all processes and documentation are up to standards
- Updating and maintaining project documentation and control systems
Job Requirements:
- Experience in PMO roles, particularly in the technology sector
- Strong understanding of project finance management
- Proficiency in risk management and resource planning
- Experience with Project Status Reporting
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Northampton for two days a week
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
