Our client, a leading design and build provider in the water sector, is currently seeking an HRIS Specialist to join their HR team based in Hattersley, with hybrid working options available. This is a permanent position in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with the IT team for resolution.
- Ensure HR business processes are current and functioning optimally.
- Analyse and interpret large data sets.
- Produce HR reports, metrics, and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Lead the implementation of system enhancements across multiple HR systems.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
- Manage system testing for HR and ensure functionality after ERP system updates.
- Assess the effectiveness of HR systems and develop business cases for project proposals.
- Provide training and support to HR staff on system usage and best practices.
- Establish and maintain robust systems and data privacy controls, and support HR audits.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HR technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HRIS Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
- Familiarity with HR compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with ERP system upgrades and implementation projects.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in HRIS and ERP software (e.g., IFS, Cornerstone, Eploy, HandsHQ).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
