Our client, a leader in the precision engineering sector, is currently seeking a Kanban Inspector to join their fast-paced manufacturing environment in Poole. This is a permanent position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspection operations within the KANBAN manufacturing facility
- Registering inspection transactions into the MRP system
- Recording and reporting all internal and supplier defects within the KANBAN facility
- Ensuring early detection of unavoidable errors to prevent issues at the pre-treatment or final inspection stages
- Supporting corrective actions and quality reviews to ensure effective preventative measures
- Maintaining uninterrupted KANBAN process flow and supporting the required delivery schedule
- Implementing minor rework when necessary
- Conducting goods-in inspections and pre-process inspections
- Booking in subcontract parts
- Identifying and reporting non-conforming products, arranging rework as required
- Performing final inspections of all KANBAN kit deliveries prior to dispatch
- Supporting the manufacturing process to ensure there are no production delays
Job Requirements:
- Experience with KANBAN systems
- Strong inspection skills
- Understanding of quality control processes
- Experience in process management within a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to undertake in-house training
