Welder (FCAW)
Introduction
An opportunity has arisen for a team of FCAW Welders in Glasgow.

The Job
Suitable candidates must be timeserved and have FCAW experience and come from a shipbuilding/shiprepair background, though other industries such as offshore/oil & gas may be considered.
You will be in involved in the new build of Naval ships.
Rates for local contractors (under 39 miles) are as follows:
Umbrella co:
£21.22/h Basic
£26.28/h Mon - Sat OT
£34.36/h Sun OT
£27.29/h - Shifts
PAYE:
£15.97/h plus £1.93/h holiday credit - Basic
£19.78/h plus £2.39/h holiday credit - Mon - Sat OT
£25.87/h plus £3.12/h holiday credit - Sun OT
£20.54/h plus £2.54/h holiday credit- Shifts
Rates for non local contractors (over 39 miles) are as follows:

£27.83/h Basic
£25.65/h Mon - Sat OT
£34.20/h Sun OT
£34.29/h - Shifts
PAYE:
£20.95/h plus £2.53/h holiday credit - Basic
£19.31/h plus £2.33/h holiday credit - Mon - Sat OT
£25.74/h plus £3.11/h holiday credit - Sun OT
£25.81/h plus £3.11/h holiday credit- Shifts
The roles are inside IR35 therefore Ltd co is not an option.
Contract length - Min. 6 months
All candidates will have to undertake a weld test which will be FCAW, all positions, MIG & Metal core fillets.
All candidates must be eligible for security clearance as you will be taking through the clearance process before you start which will require a DBS check (dated within 3 months)
