We are recruiting for an experienced HSE professional to join us on a 6 month assignment. We are
looking for an individual who will be able to offer expertise in the management of HSE within
engineering & manufacturing business)
Summary of Duties:
Review of existing Health and Safety processes and procedures.
Make recommendation regarding priority order to update these process and procedures
advising what needs to change, how this will be implemented, when this will be completed by.
The expectation is that you will be hands on leading with the implementation, working with our
department heads/team to implement.
Manage and maintain ISO: 45001 Health and Safety accreditation including:
Investigating accidents and near misses where applicable disseminating 'lessons learnt' to
internal stake holders.
Be the DNV auditor point of contact for Health and Safety against ISO: 45001.
Undertake periodic compliance audits in order to ensure that the health and safety
management system is suitably administered and statutory records are maintained.
Manage and maintain all HSE documentation (risk register, risk assessments, safety policy,
trials plans); liaise with all heads of departments to ensure safe working practise throughout
Develop and report relevant Health and Safety KPI's to demonstrate performance of the

Incident and Accident report writing.
Customer Facing management experience.
Multi-level communications and engagement skills.
The ability to plan and prioritise according to the business needs.
The skill to identify improvement areas and implement either the solution yourself or support
the team to do so.
Persistence and the ability to influence others
Self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running (with minimal direction/guidance)
NEBOSH National General Certificate
Working knowledge of ISO: 1400
