Job description
Important: All applicants must be able to obtain Security Clearance, and as a minimum be living in the UK 5 years.

The company are looking for an Electronic Architect to join a dynamic team where you will define and develop the technical solutions for the company's high quality, precision product range.
You will be working within the Electronic Engineering function which consists of RF Engineers, Systems Engineers, Firmware, Software developers and Digital Electronics Design Engineers. As the Electronic Architect you will be defining future strategies and roadmaps for all the Electronic Products and solutions based on research and development activities, in which you will have full involvement in!
As the Electronic Architect you will define the electronic and electrical architecture of the equipment, as well as managing all technical elements of Electronic Equipment's, ensuring the 'On Time, On Cost, On Quality' delivery of the technical solution.
Experience needed:
- Ideally qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience in a Physics or Engineering based subject, such as; Electronics, Hardware, Computer Science, Software or Systems Engineering etc.
- Experience across Electronic products / Equipment's.
- Experience in the design of equipment.
- Experience in Digital electronics and microprocessor systems.
- Experience in Power electronics for distributed power networks.
- Understanding of software and firmware development techniques.
- Compact packaging and thermal management techniques for complex high performance electronic equipment.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of internal computing design covering the following; System on Chip technologies, RF, Signal Processing and / or Software Defined Radio.
- Experience in EMC and Environmental design experience would also be advantageous.
