My client, a global provider within the Food and Beverage industry are currently looking for an experienced Specifications & Regulatory Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team on a fixed term contact (FTC). This position is open to an immediate start and will run until March 2022.

Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Affairs you will be accountable for:

  • Specification and data management within Garuda
  • Support the team with training materials and organisation on technical topics (Garuda etc)
  • A key user of the TCP specification management system across the organisation ensuring its integration within the business and managing content from a compliance perspective
  • Regulatory validation of ingredients and finished product formula in a multinational environment
  • Ensuring product labelling, advertising and claim compliance across International markets
  • Manage the scientific library (library database, subscriptions, scientific watch, etc.)
  • Management of dept. Source pages and other department intranet pages
  • Manage Product and Scientific Research subscriptions such as Science Direct and Innova Market Insights to ensure up to date and relevant information is disseminated

To be great at this job you will need:

  • To be qualified to a minimum of A level or equivalent in a Science or related discipline along with FMCG or Food and Beverage experience
  • Good understanding of specification management
  • Experience in data management / specification databases is a plus
  • Computer literate and comfortable with SAP or similar applications
  • Pro-active, starter-finisher work approach
  • Ability to handle complexity
