The company are a world leader in what they do and have an exciting opportunity within the evolving Electronics Engineering Function, to join as a FPGA Engineer.
The company are extremely busy, across their range of products and are looking for a FPGA Engineer to join where you will work across areas such as image processing, signal processing, embedded processors, safety and security to name a few!
As a FPGA Engineer, you will collaborate and work closely with the hardware and system engineers to define the FPGA needs.
Experience Needed:
- Ideally qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience in a physics or engineering based subject, such as; Electronics, Hardware Computer Science, Software or Systems Engineering etc.
- Experience in Digital Electronics, specifically in FPGA.
- Experience in designing for Xilinx, Intel or Microsemi devices and mastery of associated tool chains.
- An agile team player with good verbal and written communication skills capable of operating in a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable:
- Experience in one or more of the following will be desirable; VHDL, Verilog, Xilinx, Altera.
- Competent verification skills where System Verilog would be an advantage, but not mandated.
- Experience working in the defence or similar safety regulated sector.
