The company are looking for a Antenna Design Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team. As the Antenna Design Engineer you will work on the development of antennas for Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) and wideband passive sensors. This is complex and exciting technology development being used for the next generation of the company's products.

The Antenna Design Engineer will have experience in antenna design including simulation, modelling and measurement, and experience in the post-processing of data in Matlab.

Experience needed:

  • Ideally qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience in a Physics or Engineering based subject, such as; Electronics, Hardware, Computer Science, Software or Systems Engineering etc.
  • Experience in Antenna design.
  • Electromagnetic simulation experience (using tools like HFSS or CST Studio)
  • Knowledge of microwave frequencies (ideally UHF and frequencies in excess of X-band)

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • Additional experience in MATLAB and Simulink, and hands on experience in lab environments and test houses.
