Highways Inspector (NRSWA)
NRSWA Inspector needed
Are you a Streetworks / Highways Inspector looking for your next contract?

Reporting to the Senior Engineer and working as part of a busy, friendly team, you will ensure that the Council's obligations under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004 & The London Permit Scheme are discharged efficiently and effectively in order to reduce disruption to the public highway and enable the Council to fulfil its network management duty.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
o Inspecting highways activities throughout the borough
o Reporting on works in progress
o Defective apparatus
o Defective reinstatements and monitor sites throughout the guarantee period.
Initially a 3 month contract there is good probability that this will be extended for the successful contractor. To be considered you must have 3 years' experience of carrying out public highway safety inspections and be in possession of a current New Roads and Street Works supervisor's highway reinstatement qualification (NRSWA).
This is a full-time role with a rate on offer of £20 - £25 per hour.
