The Job

Project Manager - 12 month contract - Warton - £60.00ph UMB or £52.29ph PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay) (Inside IR35)

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

Clearance Requirements & Eligibility

SC Only No ITAR (start on BPSS)

This role will require you to hold or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC). You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period. The Role

You will be working at the forefront in the delivery of large, high value, technically complex and strategically important programmes. This role could be working on supporting next generation Tempest fighter aircraft or established in-service programmes such as F-35 and Typhoon.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering assigned projects to meet customer and business requirements.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading, controlling and monitoring projects so that they are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plan and where necessary, intervening to resolve issues which threaten delivery to plan
  • Leading a multi-disciplined team ensuring that both the customers and business requirements are met
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders ensuring all deliverables are achieved and that issues are effectively addressed
  • Proactively manage emerging project risks and opportunities

Essential Skills

  • Essential:

    • Proven experience gained within a similar role working on complex projects including time, cost and quality management
    • Demonstrated experience using project management methodologies
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation with strong stakeholder management experience.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
