The quality engineer's responsibilities include maintaining quality standards and processes, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also engage with line managers to implement quality measures.
A successful quality engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and services consistently meet established quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with various Quality Management techniques and be able to act as an internal auditor for all of our internal systems identifying issues and recommending solutions.
Responsibilities
* QMS Experinece (Update our QMS with incidents, fixes and improvements)
* Have a sound understanding of our quality standards and set detailed guidelines
* Audit our systems based on ISO 9001:2015 and 17025 requirements
* Determine quality metrics for all procedures
* Monitor the entire quality lifecycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible
* Review quality documentation
* Set and track quality assurance goals
* Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance
* Work with internal teams to increase stakeholder satisfaction by improving the quality of the products
* Developing and implementing quality standards.
* Developing and implementing quality control systems.
* Monitoring and analysing quality performance.
* Monitoring processes to ensure quality specifications are met.
* Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
* Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
* Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
* Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
* Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.
Quality Engineer Requirements:
* Experience of ISO9001, 17025
* Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering (desirable)
* ASQ certification preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent project management skills.
