Job description

Accountable for:

• Generation of scopes for all procured equipment, and subcontract packages
• Definition of standard procurement specific requirements
• Management and tracking of all Mechanical subcontract and supply only packages
• Update Electrical team with as purchased equipment details and drive sizes as soon as available.
• M & E Subcontract Design ensuring project and specification compliance.
• Lifting Equipment final selection, detailed design, testing and registration, including generation of and maintenance of the project lifting schedule
• Valve and penstock schedules ownership from concept to as built status
• Advising QS's of changes to specification and budgetary impact on the project
• Management of defects and maintenance repairs during the defect's liability period
• Coordination of Electrical & Mechanical installation items.
• On and offsite inspection and testing

Qualifications and training:

• BSc, HND or HNC in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• SMSTS or IOSH
• Min 2 years water experience
• Driving Licence
