Environment Advisor/Consultant (Hampshire/Oxford)
Introduction
I am recruiting for a Private Equity backed business to find an Environmental Consultant to join their growing team. There is an office in Oxford with the role including some site visits, with sites in Hampshire, Milton Keynes, Buckingham etc.

You will be joining a team made up of passionate and knowledgeable Environmental professionals. This business has won awards on their carbon reduction strategy and their social values are highly regarded.
Your duties & responsibilities will include:
- Supporting delivery of infrastructure maintenance and construction projects for the contract. This includes providing technical environmental advice, direction, support and assistance to enable key internal and external stakeholders to manage their environmental duties and responsibilities.
- Lead the contract's Carbon Reduction Strategy, working with the contract leadership team and client to measure, manage and reduce carbon associated with our operations.
- Managing the ISO 14001 Environment Management System and other compliance obligations. This includes leading both internal and external audits
- Conducting on-site environmental compliance inspections and engagement visits
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- At least 3 years' construction industry experience or relevant environmental experience in a similar sector (desirable)
- Experience of managing a variety of environmental aspects including waste management and ecology.
- Degree level in an appropriate Environmental discipline
- Associate or Practitioner Membership of IEMA or equivalent professional membership
- Carbon management experience
- Strong team player who is self-motivated
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within Hampshire and occasionally UK-wide
