CNC Turner Setter/Operator (Night Shift)
Introduction
Our client are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operatorto work for them on a long-term contract based out of their Leamington Spa site, working on their weekday night shift.

This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, mainly for the motorsport / aerospace industries, with a right first-time philosophy. You will be supported by our EdgeCam and Delcam offline programming, and be working on the following machines:
- Hitachi Seiki Hitec-Turn 23RIII 2 axis turning machines
- Victor TurnII 20OiT and 26 OT and 26Oit 2 axis turning machines
- Leadwell LTC 25iL with Siemens 828D
- Doosan puma GT3100
The ability to work a small manual lathe and/or a Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lathe would be advantageous.
The Candidate
- The successful candidate will have to demonstrate that they can understand and produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time.
- Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
- Applicants must have experience working primarily with Fanuc controls however Siemens would be advantageous.
- The applicants must be able to read and understand programming codes.
- Being flexible towards work in other areas of Manufacturing would be an advantage.
- Be willing to work additional hours when required to achieve delivery dates.
Hours of Work
- This role will eventually be working weekday night shift: 21:15-07:00, Monday to Thursday
- However, training on standard days will initially be required; 07:30 - 16:00, Monday to Thursday | 07:30 - 12:30, Friday
Pay Rates
This role has been deemed inside IR35, therefore, only PAYE or Umbrella contracts available.
The contractor will be paid a base hourly rate with an additional retainer paid out at the end of each of the 6-month contract period. Full breakdown of rates below:
