Reporting to an Assembly Manager, you will be responsible for leading a shop floor assembly
team and will be accountable for the activities the team carries out.
Main Responsibilities:
* You will effectively organise, delegate, manage and co-ordinate activities/resources carried
out by the team to ensure the workload requirements are met and delivered on time.
* Driving execution, monitoring performance against the plan, holding people accountable for
achieving their goals, tackling problems before they become crisis,
* Making sure lessons learnt (Quality alerts, FAL event reports etc…) are taken into account
and there is a focus on continuous improvement
* Provide clear visibility of the work progress: performance, risks etc
* Work with the management team to ensure that the adequate resources and skills are
available and proper methods and processes applied.
* Promote professional and personal development of all team members, managing the PDR
process.
* Encourage, support and be accountable for initiatives to improve cost, quality, delivery,
health, safety and environmental performance.
* Be a focal in the department for HSE processes (Risk Assessments, GPI's)
* Be a focal in the department for FOD (Foreign Object Debris / Foreign Object Damage
* Drive the daily QRQC process with the team
