Motor Control Software Engineer

These positions will be hybrid, our offices are currently based in Nuneaton and we will be relocating to Coventry/Leamington Spa.

Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to the Motion Control Manager
2. Working as a part of the R&D team according to the project requirements
3. Developing automotive grade embedded systems.
4. Design for integration with automotive mechanical systems and work in a multidisciplinary environment
5. Design under safety and quality standards
6. Develop Simulink algorithms for code generation.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Degree in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2. Experience working in the automotive industry or equivalent
3. Senior Level experience as a Electrical Motor Controls Engineer
4. Proficient experience in designing actuation controls
5. Experience with servo motors operation principle
6. Real-time programming proficient experience
7. Experienced in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ -professional
8. Ability to learn new technologies quickly without guidance
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
10. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
11. Willingness to work hard to meet demanding targets
