Overview

You will join our team developing very high speed encryption engines that are critical to the next generation of highly secure, miniaturised solid state hard drives used to protect critical data for government and defence computers, tablets, and embedded platforms.

Experience needed:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline.
• Full life-cycle software development experience.
• Experience in C or C++ in embedded applications
• Sound understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and programming skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
• Scripting expertise with bash, python or similar.
• Configuration management and version control (e.g. SVN, GIT).
• Sound understanding of operating system concepts such as multi-threading, process scheduling, inter-process communication, memory management and I/O.
• Requirements analysis, capture and management using IBM Rational DOORS.
• x86 architecture, hardware programming and device driver models.

Important: Must have sole British Nationality (due to UK eyes-only projects), and have, or be capable of obtaining, UK security clearance (SC)
