Rear Fairing Structural Fitter
Mission Systems Wimborne, now part of the Eaton Portfolio has a contract requirement for x4 Structural Fitters to start ASAP.
Now offering increased pay rates, and travel allowance for eligible candidates.
We are looking for x4 Structural Fitters to work primarily within the Assembly and Test facility building air to air refuelling products. Your role will be manufacturing rear fairings to agreed engineering methods and processes.
Initially to be based at Mission Systems Wimborne, before potentially moving to the Crewkerne Site.
Competitive hourly rates and Travel allowance will be offered for those traveling over 50miles - Please enquire for further information.
3 on 4 off, weekly alternating - 6am to 6.30pm Monday to Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday.
Night Shift - 4 nights per week (Monday to Thursday) 8.30pm to 6.15am.
(Overtime available on Sunday or on opposite groups days.)
Double days, Weekly alternating - Earlies 6am to 2pm.
Lates 1.45pm to 10pm.
Friday earlies - 6am to 1.30pm
Friday lates - 1.15 to 7.45pm
Overtime available before/after shift and at weekends
Night Shift - not planned as of yet but will follow the 4 nights per week (Monday to Thursday) 8.30pm to 6.15am.
Duties and Responsibilities
Working in a team building air to air refuelling products.
Assembling rear fairings in a manufacturing environment.
Attending training courses for your development.
Adhering to processes & offering ideas for new procedures.
Assembles product to agreed engineering methods and processes.
Experience and Knowledge/Skills
Production experience is essential (solid / blind riveting, drilling, reaming, countersinking etc.).
Aerospace sub-system assembly and test.
Be able to read engineering drawings.
Aircraft experience from a new product manufacturing background including sheet metal work experience.
Location: Wimborne, Dorset and Crewkerne, Somerset.
Working Hours: 37 hours per week. 50+ hours overtime available.
Shifts: Double Days and Night Shift
You will be working with sensitive data and as such you should be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline) & Disclosure Barring Service Checks before being able to commence the contract.
This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
