Job description

Engineering Campaign - Mission Systems Engineer - 12 month contract - Warton - £48.35ph UMB or £36.25ph PAYE + £5.27ph accrued in holiday credit (Inside IR35)

Role description:

Our client is looking for multiple engineers to join their teams in Warton or Samlesbury to work on their major Air Programmes.

You will work across the various work packages/projects and be involved in a broad range of activities across the engineering lifecycle in the design, development, test, qualification and in-service support of aircraft and associated ground-based mission systems.

The Mission Systems domain is vast and encompasses hardware & software that directly delivers military capability.

What we are looking for in you:

• Degree, HND or equivalent and experience within a relevant Engineering discipline
• Experience of fulfilling challenging customer requirements to tight timescales and budgets
• Work with minimal supervision, be pro-active, diligent, and have strong team-working & communications skills and be committed to a delivery culture

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering especially 'Systems of Systems' engineering
• Knowledge of the European Product Safety, CE and EMC legislation
• Knowledge of the Engineering Lifecycle and typical aircraft development lifecycle
• Experience using IBM Telelogic DOORS Requirements Management tool
• Previous design or test experience of aircraft avionics

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
