Area Sales Manager

Reporting to the Trade & Installers Commercial Manager this key role has broad hands-on responsibility for developing and driving UK sales of Prysmian Trade & Installers products through electrical wholesalers into the electrical market, which includes Contractors and Specifiers.

The successful candidate will be a creative, innovative thinker with the commercial instincts to develop and implement dynamic sales strategies through effective, targeted channel management. Excellent and highly persuasive interpersonal skills will enable you to build lasting and influential relationships. A high degree of numeracy is essential together with an impressive track record of key account management. The ability to be a team player with a high level of self-motivation is vital in this role.

The jobholder will be based from home in North England area but will be required to travel extensively in order to cover this part of the country effectively. A current driving licence is essential

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level, with proven sales experience in a technical oriented environment. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Renumeration

• £45,000 per annum basic salary
• 5% bonus per quarter based on achieving targets
