Clearance Requirements & Eligibility
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a Criminal Record Check. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain Security Clearance. In addition, this role involves direct access to ITAR Material. Job Description
The holder of this role will be an experienced Logistician with a strong background in Storage, Distribution, Material Accounting and Demand Management and holds recognised qualifications in the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory Military Stores Accounting System. Reporting to the BAES Logistics STF+ Logistics representative, they will be responsible for the correct accounting for assets removed from surge aircraft in TMF (N) to provide essential parts to the Typhoon fleet. They will also be responsible for placing and progressing MJDI demands to source replacement parts for the aircraft. All work must meet the requirements of the UK Typhoon fleet, as part of the TyTAN Enterprise Service and be compliant with MAOS 145 and QR640 regulations.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
* Processing asset demands at the appropriate priority and state if required.
* Day to day housekeeping work to ensure assets are correctly identified prior to issue out of TMF (N)
* Maintenance and upkeep of logistics registers held for each aircraft.
* Submitting requests for Special to Contents containers
* Driving assets to other BAE Systems areas prior to movement off station. in conjunction with Managed Assets MAVIS drivers where required.
* MJDI transactions to ensure the transfer of short supply assets to the correct end user through the aircraft regulator

* Knowledge of Supply Chain IT systems
* Ability to work independently, Self-Motivated, Self-Starter & Proactive

* IT Literate & numerate
* Requirement for close liaison and working with the core engineering and BAES Logistics teams across TyTAN
- Holds a UK driving licence.
- The candidate must be good with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
- Communication, Team Working, Motivation and a recognised MJDI Qualification are Essential
