Job description
The Pipeline Engineer will work on a variety of dynamic projects to help move towards a 'net zero' future. This will include carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCSU) projects.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified with a significant amount of experience as a pipeline/material engineer.
You should have;
- Worked or studied in oil & gas projects previously.
- Knowledge of Welding and NDE techniques (UT, RT, PT, MT and computerized versions of same)
- Good knowledge of fracture mechanics, engineering critical assessment methods and strain base design
- Experience with pipe manufacturing, hot induction bending and forging industries
- Previous experience with pipe coating and onshore facilities
- Experience in validating pipeline routing adjustments, alignment sheet, GIS, etc.
- The ability to ensure that pipeline design and installation is conducted with respect to the requirements of DNVGL-ST- F101, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, BSI PD 8010-Part1, BSI PD8010-Part2 API RP 1110, API RP 1104, etc.
- Experience with AutoCAD and DNV PET / SESAM Package including DNVGL-RP-F101 corroder pipeline
Hybrid working model available - 3 days at home and 2 in the office per week.
This role is Inside IR35. Candidates can be paid on a PAYE or Umbrella basis.
