Job summary
Supporting both OE and Spares, your primary role will be the support function to the team within the Chemical Processing area. Support and control within the Special Process Group, initially focused on Surface Finishes / Chemical Processing.

Job description
- Have demonstrated history of flexibility, self-motivation and willingness to learn
- An ideal candidate would be one with a quality testing background - Chemical/pharmaceutical based
- Perform routine technical tests and analyses using appropriate equipment and instruments.
- Have experience and knowledge of Chemical Processing
- Other Special Process experience and knowledge is advantageous
- Have experience with audits, both preparation and practical
- Have experience with problem solving and quality control and adherence
- Have excellent IT and communication skills
- Time served Apprenticeship (or equivalent external training)
- Have an interest in continuous improvement, with a history of active involvement in process improvements / technology improvements
- Excellent time management.
- Supporting and leading NADCAP audits ensuring compliance of the process area
- Continuously developing procedures and practices in line with international requirements and regulations
- Role will be focussed on Chemical Processing, routine testing and quality control - including (but not limited to) chemical solutions analysis, testing etc.
- Actively support the process areas with new developments of technology to increase quality and efficiency
- Ensure smooth flow of production by ensuring calibration, tooling suitability, equipment condition, tooling and documentation is up to standard
- Interact with external suppliers and customers to support requirements of production
- Be Flexible and willing to support other Special Process Departments
- The role will report directly to the Special Process Group Manager

- Good problem solving skills to diagnose machine or tool malfunctions and to determine need for adjustment or repairs.
