My Client are currently recruiting for an Electrical / EICA Engineer in the Water sector

We are currently working with a Client in the Water Sector, who have a number of amazing opportunities to join their engineering team. Are you an Engineer, with a bias in either Mechanical, Electrical, Implementation, and/or a Control Automation? If so, this is the opportunity for you!
Jersey is a Crown Dependency, the largest and southernmost of the Channel Islands, lying south of England's coast and 12 miles west of the Cotentin Peninsula of France. Jersey is about 10 miles east to west and 5 miles north to south. Jersey offers a great lifestyle, with plenty of events laid on throughout the year. It boasts some fantastic restaurants, high standards of education, wide open spaces and some breath-taking landscapes.
Jersey Water is the sole supplier of treated mains water to Jersey, supplying approximately 40,000 homes and businesses. The Company's two water treatment works supply over 7 billion litres of water to customers through its 580km network of water mains each year. The Company, which is one of the largest landowners in Jersey.
The Company's raw water network includes one standby desalination plant, five boreholes and numerous stream abstraction points all feeding six impounding reservoirs.
We are currently looking for both Electrical and Mechanical engineers to,
- To provide mechanical and or electrical assurance through specialist knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and standards for mechanical and or electrical installations.
- To assist the Operations Manager and act as his deputy in managing and controlling the safe and efficient operation of water resources, treatment works and other associated water supply plant and equipment.
- To ensure Jersey Water continues to provide the Island of Jersey with the highest quality potable water achievable.
- To ensure Jersey Water complies with the Water (Jersey) Law 1972 and develop ongoing continuous improvements to processes and procedures to ensure continued compliance against external benchmarks.
- To lead the delivery of capital projects associated with the Water Supply Department and other associated inter department capital works.
