Job description

This is an opportunity to work on a great long term project with one of the UK's leading rail companies and join a superb team that is looking to grow to meet the demands of the projects. As the P-Way Supervisor you will be experienced in plain line and S&C track renewals and enhancements and be able to supervise and direct work sites according to work plans. You will be required to:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of p-way works
• Co-ordinate and attend site meetings
• Produce status and progress reports
• Ensure all works are carried out as per documentation and work plans and report back to the management team
• Undertake safety inspections and drive Health & Safety standards on site
• Drive site teams to achieve production targets and ensure their safety
• Co-ordinate with other parties and and sub-contractors when on site

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate previous supervisory experience in P-Way maintenance/renewals or enhancements and have a strong knowledge in Pway rules and regulations, NWR standards and H&S protocols. Good communication and interpersonal skills will be essential as you drive site teams to complete their works. The work will be a mixture of days, nights and weekends.
