Job description

• Manage the construction team and lead by example to ensure all project milestones are met in line with budget and on time.
• Lead from the front in ensuring there is a robust health & safety system in place and ensure everyone meets all required standards
• Prepare method statements and liaise with site teams
• Work closely with planning and commercial teams to mitigate risk
• Prepare, review and submit all contract documentation
• Plan and attend meetings when necessary with any stakeholders

As the project manager you will have

• Experience of working for Tier 1 contractors with heavy experience in track renewals
• Good technical background in permanent way projects or track renewals
• Good knowledge of railway specifications and standards
• Be able to demonstrate managing a high performing team on previous rail infrastructure projects
