This Consultancy focuses on Clean Energy and Energy transition, working on projects in the UK, Middle East and Africa. Experience in these fields and geographic areas is advantageous. They have opportunities to travel, work on and lead international projects plus relocate if you are interested.


The scope of work will range from performing at subject matter expert advisory level to more technical input including emissions calculation, assessment and development emissions reduction strategies and action plans.

More specifically, the work will include Carbon base lining, Emission forecasting, Emission Monitoring and Best Available Technique (BAT) assessment scopes.


Role Overview

  • Environmental permitting (e.g. Industrial Emissions Directive/Environmental Permitting Regulations) including full permit applications, variations, surrenders and associated regulator liaison
  • Best available techniques (BAT) advice and options studies
  • Assessment of environmental impacts, including coordination of specialist assessments, for planning applications
  • Ability to contribute to other projects with environmental requirements, e.g., due diligence audits and overseas studies at industrial sites
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, with supporting cost-estimates, for environmental services to meet client requirements
  • Undertake project work
  • Liaise with clients and relevant regulatory bodies to deliver successful outcomes to projects
  • Manage and deliver reporting to budget, within agreed timescales and to a high quality
  • Assist in the presentation of technical issues to clients
  • International Travel
  • Work with colleagues in other disciplines to support the wider client needs

Salaries range from 37-45k depending on experience.
