Who We Are Seeking
We are currently recruiting skilled GRP Laminators to join our esteemed client. As a GRP Laminator, your craftsmanship will be admired worldwide as you contribute to building some of the finest yachts in the world.
The ideal candidates for this role will have relevant prior experience in GRP laminating, preferably gained within the marine industry.
You'll be based at a Poole or Portland-based shipyard dependent on your location, with the opportunity to work at our largest sites with an award-winning workforce, truly becoming a part of a family.
Example Responsibilities Include
As a GRP Laminator, you will be fully involved throughout the production process, utilizing a variety of hand-laid materials and preparing and releasing both small and large molds. Working within a team, you will ensure production targets are met while upholding a flawless standard of workmanship.

- Is conversant with Health and Safety regulations, particularly regarding GRP materials and their use.
- Strives to achieve a high standard of work while maintaining a thorough and detailed work process.
- Possesses a patient and positive attitude, with a desire to pursue perfection.
- Has experience in GRP Laminating from any industry.
Working Patterns
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 | Overtime (x1.5) widely available
- Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 18:00-04:30
- Weekend overtime is widely available.
Pay Rates
- £14.00p/h PAYE (Semi-Skilled)
- £15.05-£16.05p/h PAYE (Skilled)
- £20.06p/h - £21.40p/h PAYE - Nights
- Overtime is available and paid at an increased rate if over the basic 40-hour working week of x1.5 Monday - Saturday or x2 for Sundays and bank holidays.

In addition to the competitive pay rates, you will be entitled to a 30-day holiday (inclusive of bank holidays). Our client observes two shipyard shutdowns, one in August and the other over Christmas.
