My Client is recruiting for a Product Manager in the Water Sector

The business unit within Water Technologies division, specializes in:

  • Standard product design, development, industrialization, standardization
  • Manufacturing of skid-mounted systems, containerized units, and packaged plants
  • Strategic components based on company technologies and patents
  • Full Supply chain management with logistics activity to support our Partners

The Business unit includes several manufacturing & logistics workshops and supply chain platforms in Europe and China.

The Job

  • Develop, design, standardise and improve skid-mounted units in conjunction with market expectations briefed by the market specialists and experts of the group.
  • Contribute to our products and offers inside and outside the business.
  • Investigate regularly the expectations of our clients and the innovations of our suppliers.
  • Support technically the workshop to manufacture and improve standard products.
  • Support customer service by sizing and designing pre-engineered systems (tender and execution phases) to support the Business Development teams.
  • Produce and manage technical and sales documentation for several product lines.
  • Contribute to the Business Units around the world to sell, install and operate the products in support of the Business Development teams.
  • Work closely with C&I/CAD teams along with Customer Service and Procurement ones to support product design evolutions until BOMs update.
  • Follow the TD methodology defined in our Quality Management System.
  • Technical Support for the Business Development team in the RFQs stage (specs, product definition)

The Person

  • Qualified to degree level preferably with a relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience and skills in Process Water treatment (Chemical Process, Hydraulic, Design, Engineering).
  • A strong interest in Product Management ( Product Life Cycle, Standardization).
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical market and even consistent understanding of the pharma industrial process of clients.
  • Experience in project management would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to express information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Lateral thinking in order to suggest and produce novel solutions to the challenges of developing new and improved standard solutions.
  • Work must be consistently accurate, timely, and complete with emphasis on ensuring that the business maintains technological leadership with its standard solutions.
  • Working knowledge of either French, German, Spanish, or Mandarin would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel/Word) and Google would be desirable.
  • Ability to focus and retain analytical judgment under the pressure of deadlines.
