2 Streetwork Admin based in St Austell
£9.60 basic PAYE

Working in the Streetworks Department managing the permits required in order to excavate in the highway across the South West Water region. Working within a team of Co-ordinators dealing with all aspects of compliance from requesting road closures or traffic light applications to providing the operations depots with clear reporting in order that they ensure works are completed and sites are cleared before the risk of fines for overstaying the agreed period of occupancy on the highway. Working in a great team in within a friendly open plan office environment with scope to upskill and progress within the team structure.
Due to work load and absences in the team we have a requirement for two new members ideally on a Temp to Perm basis if we can get the right sort of candidates.
We are looking for competent and enthusiastic administrators who can be taught the job and want to aspire to thrown themselves into learning the skills to create a rewarding career within Kier. The Manager Angie and her Team Leader Jayne to invest their time in training people that are not invested and will leave at a drop of a hat.
The starting salary for this position is £20K pa. The hours would be 39.5 hours per week (8am-4.30pm) 30 mins lunch Mon-Thur and 1 hour on Fri
Mostly office based may be hybrid when candidate goes Perm on a 5 day rota fairly but it will involve working a Sat or a Sun one week in 5
