My Client is recruiting for a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer in the Water Sector
Out client is looking for additional mechanical and electrical engineers with strong experience working on MEICA projects to join their team, working specifically on projects in the Yorkshire and Northeast region.
You will be working on various mechanical and electrical projects within Water & Wastewater, Treatment Plant, Flood defence along with general design and build commercial M & E projects throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commissioning services including full documentation, carrying out commissioning activities and manage supplier / contractor commissioning. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing, String Testing where applicable and assist the project team with project completions.
- Be involved in assisting designers develop new and refurbishment works for a large building portfolio and processing and manufacturing facility.
- Involvement in the installation and commissioning of projects from design to conception and interfacing with clients.
- Work within the team of MEP engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience of installation & commissioning both electrical and mechanical assets
- Experience of working to electrical procedures, including providing Electrical Permit to Works.
- Experience of mechanical and electrical commissioning within the Utility sector and commercial building sectors
- A proven record with planning the commissioning process
- Working to safe systems of work including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
- Able to work well both within a team & independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
