The Job

This role is Inside IR35

Pay £40-£50 ph UMB

Midlands based with Hybrid working

As System Integration Engineer you are responsible for supporting integration and verification of an electric drive system. This will involve;

  • Experience in HiL / PiL Environment
  • HiL and Integration Test
  • Generate verification and validation plans
  • Conducting engineering issues investigation, problem resolution and writing integration summary reports
  • Analysing the risk associated with changes to system level design of electric drive products and derive actions to verify these changes
  • Supporting risk analysis associated with changes to subsystem level design
  • Supporting and ensuring that the electric drive system performance complies with customer expectation
  • Developing laboratory infrastructure
  • Designing, executing and reporting customised fault insertion tests to verify electric drive system requirements
  • Maintaining electric drive system configuration database

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Software or equivalent. MSc would be an advantage.
  • Experience in problem resolution using relevant methodologies, ideally in a mechatronic product development environment
  • Able to work with a structured and methodical approach to coordinate engineers from different disciplines
  • Experience in electronics, embedded systems and motor control is a significant advantage
  • Experience in systems engineering is an advantage
  • Experience in requirements engineering is an advantage
  • Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) are mandatory
