Job summary
As Site Purchasing and SPQ Manager, you will act by delegation of the Purchasing VP and the Purchasing Commodities Directors to coordinate site-wide purchasing and Supplier Performance activities, whilst managing a team of Buyers.

Job description
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance in case of on-site audits (Audits, Internal controls, Export control)
- Ensure effectiveness of the Procure to pay process and the administration of SAP
- Support purchasing activities related to the military programs or government laws
- Delegate for Purchasing VP and Interface with the Commodity Directors
- Lead negotiations on specific hot topics locally with suppliers and on specific military programs.
- Participate in Supplier Selection process and Projects
- Upskill the team of Buyers on purchasing strategies and standards implementation
- Site SPQM Management role:
- Participate in supplier performance reviews
- Accountable for achieving the Supplier OTD & OQD and Monitoring Plan objectives for the commodities
- Manage a team of Supplier Performance & Quality Leaders, ensuring best practice
- Define and implement digitisation actions to improve the efficiency of the Supplier Performance Management process: Accountable for supplier approval and monitoring process, to include evaluating suppliers during the selection process, reviewing supplier risk, and defining monitoring plans
To be successful in the role, you will need experience in:
- Purchasing processes and supply chain management
- Contract negotiation
- Team management
- Cross-functional project management
- Aerospace, engineering or manufacturing background would be advantageous
- Experience working to quality standards (eg AS90100, ISO9001) would be highly advantageous
