Job description

Software Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Rochester - £54.96 ph Umbrella or £54.96 ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

SC & ITAR (cannot start on BPSS)

This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a Criminal Record Check and must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5 year period. ThE Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will be working in a team environment to develop software that meets the complex and demanding requirements of our customers. This software provides high-integrity solutions for our military systems.

You should have strong skills in:

• Software Requirements generation in DOORS
• Software design using UML
• Coding in C, ideally to MISRA:2012 Standards
• Simulink Model Based Design

You will have experience of:

• Safety-critical, real-time, embedded software development
• Adherence to DO-178B/C Guidelines
• Software verification using VectorCAST/Simulink Test
