Job description
As an Associate Director Transport Planner, you will be involved in a variety of projects for a range of public and private sector clients. You will help drive these projects to successful completion whilst also undertake business development, preparation of fee estimates and winning new project work in the London and South East area.
Reporting to a Regional Director, you will support the delivery of projects effectively to strict deadlines, whilst maintaining technical performance standards.
Various duties and responsibilities central to the role will be conducted on a day to day basis and include:
* Business Development
* Fee estimates and winning work
* Team development
* Preparing Transport Assessments / Transport Statements
* Trip generation calculations
* Capacity assessments using Picady and Arcady
* Preparing Active Travel Plans
* Construction Logistic Plans
* Servicing Management Plans
* Preliminary Access Design
Ideally you will also hold a Degree (Masters/Bachelors or equivalent) in a related discipline, be a member of a relevant professional institution (such as TPS, CIHT or similar) and have:
* Good communication skills when working with both project teams and clients
* Ability to apply assessment and numerical skills to project work
* Strong written and numerical presentation skills
