Systems Engineering Manager
Systems Engineering Manager required for new energy projects. You will help develop the processes and strategies of the systems team of six engineers. You will also have systems design responsabilities and your own projects.

About the Role
You will lead the Systems Engineering team in applying systems engineering principles and tools in the effective delivery of design and development work packages covering product applications in UAVs, MHE, portable and stationary power, automotive and aviation.
You will ensure the delivery of all systems and architecture definition to support development from prototype through to product to cost and performance targets in a minimum time to market.
You will provide leadership and development of the Systems Engineering team to maximise their potential and deliver on the team's objectives.
Degree qualified to at least a BEng, BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or hold a relevant non-degree level qualification alongside suitable industrial experience.
You will have significant relevant industrial experience post completion of your degree, including evidence of delivery though people and/or technical leadership.
Membership of a relevant professional body, with chartered status is advantageous, as is evidence of further professional learning in technical and/or leadership skills.
Good understanding of systems engineering principles and how they should be applied throughout the full engineering lifecycle.
You will be a creative problem solver with both technical and engineering process related issues.
Proven track record of defining and delivering sub-systems and/or full products and of implementation of DfX principles.
