Job description

I am helping a leading Motorsport and F1 company, based near Oxford, in their search for a Design Engineer focussing Surface Design.

This is a 3- 9 month contract and sits Outside IR35 and pays £450 - £500 per day depending on experience. They offer a flexible hybrid work environment.

This exciting contract gives the candidate the opportunity to not only work in an F1 environment but also gain exposure in high end automotive and potentially R&D. Although the main focus it's to heal body in white surfaces from an OEM prior to CFD pre-processing.

You will be working as part of an experienced design team who add value to projects across the clients brand.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced contractor with exposure to multiple design packages, such as Catia V5/6 or Icem Surf, and must be experienced in high end automotive OEM or motorsport/F1 Surface Design. Class A Surface experience is prefered, although Class B surface experience also acceptable.
