Job summary

Our client, a Leading D&B contractor in the water industry, are looking for an M&E Co-ordinator for their work on the south coast

Job description

Job role:

  • Assisting the project manager develop the procurement plan for a project including contributing to procurement documentation, supplier selection and hence early engagement
  • Co-ordination of the design team
  • Support to the delivery team during construction / assembly
  • Ensure that the provisions of the tender documentation are complete and correct
  • Arranging the FAT and ensuring that all associated FAT documents are acceptable

Essential:

  • Previous experience within a similar role in a contracting background
  • Design and build experience
  • Extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
  • Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Primavera software
  • Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
  • A good understanding of the operational environment within the construction industry, ideally with previous water treatment experience

Flexible working arrangements

  • Min of 3 days in the office or site
