Job description
Our client, who are a global leading manufacturer, are recruiting for x2 Electrically biased Production Maintenance individuals to support the continued growth of their business near Southampton.
The role will involve the following -
- Diagnosing, fault finding and repair of Medium/Heavy industrial plant and machinery.
- Completing preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
- Developing and implementing modifications to improve reliability of plant and machinery.
- Working as a team with maintenance and manufacturing colleagues.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Adherence to Health & Safety with absolute priority.
Suitable candidates will have qualifications/experience in the following:
- PLC, Instrumentation and Electronic drives.
- Using software to interface or diagnose faults on plant and machinery.
- Maintenance on AC and DC motors.
- Risk assessment and safety awareness.
- Machine and Plant lock off procedures.
- Ability to read machine and plant drawings.
The individuals chosen to take on this role must have either an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or will have completed a recognised, certificated industrial apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance.
There are roles available across 2 different shift patterns:
Option 1: 2-shift
7am - 3pm and 1pm - 9pm (Monday to Friday) on a weekly rotating basis
Option 2: 4-shift
6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am (Monday to Sunday) with pattern being 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on / 4 nights off on a rotating basis
