Job description
Electronics / Hardware Engineers required for contracts (outside IR35) in North Gloucestershire. Duties will include:
- Creating new revisions of electronic hardware including design, schematic capture and support to PCB layout
- Bug identification and resolution
- Resolution of component obsolescence
- Commissioning/verification of new electronics hardware in system/product
- Commissioning/verification of existing electronic hardware in system/product
- Product/systems integration support
- Bug/issue management
- Support to environmental/EMC testing
- Project documentation where needed, Design Notes, ICD, Interconnect Diagrams, Test Procedures and Results
Hardware will range from simple 8-10 layer interface/PSU boards through to complex 20 layer digital processing board and a 3rd party VPX backplane.
