Job description

Electronics / Hardware Engineers required for contracts (outside IR35) in North Gloucestershire. Duties will include:

1. Creating new revisions of electronic hardware including design, schematic capture and support to PCB layout
2. Bug identification and resolution
3. Resolution of component obsolescence
4. Commissioning/verification of new electronics hardware in system/product
5. Commissioning/verification of existing electronic hardware in system/product
6. Product/systems integration support
7. Bug/issue management
8. Support to environmental/EMC testing
9. Project documentation where needed, Design Notes, ICD, Interconnect Diagrams, Test Procedures and Results

Hardware will range from simple 8-10 layer interface/PSU boards through to complex 20 layer digital processing board and a 3^rd party VPX backplane.
