Job description

Our client are looking for a Construction Supervisor to work on a world-first green hydrogen gas project to act as the site client representative throughout the brand new installation of this hydrogen production and storage plant.

The daily role and responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to:

• Managing Contractors and Subcontractors including dealing with and resolving technical queries and carefully coordinating the technical interface process between Contractors.
• Reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Witnessing tests by the Contractor and conducting inspections of work to ensure quality and compliance with the contract.
• Maintaining detailed records and data and providing progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Monitoring and recording the Contractor's progress against the programme.
• Ensuring a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision is maintained.
• Working in accordance with the CDM (2015) regulations.
• Ensuring compliance with the work scope, NEC4 ECC contract and applicable laws.

To be considered for this vacancy candidates must have process industry experience e.g. oil refinery, petrochemical or chemical manufacturing. You must be able to manage multidiscipline construction and installation work including civils, mechanical and E&I. You should have an understanding of P&IDs and piping isometric drawings and technical specifications.

This role is Inside IR35. The rate advertised is Umbrella. We can also pay the successful candidate on a PAYE basis. Details can be discussed upon application.
