What will you be doing?

As the new Digital Applications Lead you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital solutions. Working closely with our clients stakeholders to understand requirements, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensures that applications meet quality standards and are user-friendly.

In addition to direct experience in front-end application development, you will also play a critical role in developing and implementing a wider strategic approach to managing the applications landscape in their business. This will involve working closely with other departments to identify areas for improvement, developing and maintaining data strategies to support their business objectives, and ensuring that applications are aligned with their overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Implement user-acceptance testing strategies and to ensure any applications are thoroughly tested, functional and signed-off.
• Develop and maintain documentation for application design, including technical specifications, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with @one Digital Squad to ensure seamless integration between and front-end and back-end development.
• Horizon-scan for new applications that accelerate efficiency and improve safety.
• Design, plan and implement the rollout of new applications.
• Develop and implement our applications landscape strategy, to rationalise the systems we use, identify and fill capability gaps, and maximise benefit of existing business systems and applications.
