Job description

Resourcing solutions Limited are looking to find a Quantity Surveyor to work on a permanent contract with one of our clients. The company in question is part of a large infrastructure project and are offering the successful candidate an opportunity to join an excellent commercial team with many opportunities to advance their career. As the QS you will be expected to perform the following duties:

• Prepare and assess applications, valuations, cost/value reconciliation
• Cost control and forecast whilst preparing monthly reports
• Prepare and agree applications for payment and prepare payment certificates
• Ensure all documents are managed in accordance to the contract and company policy

The successful candidate will need:

• To hold a RICS/CICES accredited degree
• Have strong experience in rail infrastructure projects
• NEC 3 contract experience is essential
• Strong cost management or cost loading software experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Demonstrate legal, contractual and construction knowledge
